The Entrance Hall
From the large car park you enter the imposing entrance hall which leads to the main clubroom.
The Dining Room
Also off the hall is the Dining Room which also commands panoramic river views. This lovely room is popular for private dining functions of up to 26 heads. Members and guests have the option of using this room at lunchtimes, Sundays and Themed Dinner Nights.
Opposite the dining room is a well equipped kitchen where our in house caterer Claymore Catering, under the auspices of Chef Michael Penny, prepares delicious meals for diners. Michael is very flexible and is happy to discuss special menu’s and catering events as required.
Completing the ground floor in Fort William House are Ladies and Disabled Toilets.
The Downstairs Bar
On the Lower Floor there is a second well stocked bar with open fireplace and beamed ceiling all creating a pleasant cosy atmosphere helped with the walls being covered in archive RTYC photographs. However the ‘piece de resistance’ of this room is that weather permitting it gives direct access to a large enclosed balcony overlooking the club gardens and River Tay.
Also on the lower floor is the club Lecture Room, Cadet Room and Gents Toilets.
To complete this tour of Fort William House, on the Upper Floor a Committee Room complete with large central table all ideal for private meetings.
