The IOMs are high tech, high performance
yachts and have all the fun (and competitiveness) of their full-scale cousins.
Although the majority of yachts sailed by Club members are of the IOM design,
there are a huge number of classes available and sailed throughout the world.

All IOM racing is carried out
under the International Sailing Federation Racing Rules of Sailing, just the
same as on the “big” boats; - so STARBOARD means just the same!
