Main Clubhouse Facilities
Overlooking the Tay
The RTYC Main Clubhouse is on the main Dundee to Broughty Ferry Road in West Ferry with panoramic views of our sailing waters. Originally a sailing captain’s house, we have owned it since 1955.
The Clubhouse is great for socialising. We have our own private car park with direct access to the club. The Main Lounge has a large bay window overlooking the Tay and a well-stocked bar. You will also find our bay windowed dining room, well equipped kitchen, ladies toilet and disabled toilet with baby changing facilities. All of the rooms on this level are suitable for disabled access.
Downstairs, we have a smaller bar which leads on to our smart, modern outdoor terrace, a lecture room, cadet room and gent’s toilet. Disabled access can be gained through out rear entrance.
On the top floor of the Club we have a small office and committee room.
Below the clubhouse our ladies and gent’s changing rooms with shower facilities can be found.

The Royal Tay Yacht Club is a private members club which boasts fantastic views over the river and excellent socialising facilities for both social and club members.
