Main Clubhouse Facilities
Overlooking the Tay
The RTYC Main Clubhouse sits on the main Dundee to Broughty Ferry Road in West Ferry with panoramic views of our sailing waters. Originally a sailing captain’s house it was acquired by the Club in the 1955 and serves the club well.
The premises offer great socialising facilities for members and guests. We have our own private car park with direct access to the club. On street level you will find the Main Lounge with its large bay window overlooking the Tay and a well stocked bar. You will also find our bay windowed dining room, well equipped kitchen, ladies toilet and disabled toilet with baby changing facilities. All of the rooms on this level are suitable for disabled access.
Downstairs, we have a smaller bar which leads on to our newly refurbished outdoor terrace, a lecture room, cadet room and gents toilet. Disabled access can be gained through out rear entrance.
On the upper floor of the Club we have a small office and committee room.
Adjoining the clubhouse there is ladies and gents changing rooms with shower facilities and a much used roof top terrace which is popular for after event relaxing and socialising.
