With 5 squibs now on moorings off Grassy Beach our energetic Captain, Klaudia, recently hosted another get-together of the squib group in Glenogil House. Also in attendance were the bosuns of the RTYC squibs - Sweet Mystery (John Whiteside) and Crystal Tipps (Hugh Jones) who are responsible for looking after the boats now they are in the water.

We reviewed the good progress made already this year as a group (with special thanks to Dads Army for preparing the boats etc), and considered various ideas on how to facilitate and encourage more people to try squib sailing which is good fun once you get started; look out for more news on this.

Meanwhile we intend to focus on social sailing on Thursday evenings and the My Club sessions on Saturday mornings; why not come along to see for yourself and maybe even give it a try? Help will be on hand from experienced squibbers to take you out and we can supply certain gear if required, such as a buoyancy aid.
